Lydia Panas has exhibited her work internationally, including such venues as the Museum of Modern Art, Shanghai, Museum of Art at Brigham Young University, Allentown Art Museum, Yours Gallery in Warsaw, and the Griffin Museum of Photography in Boston, among others.
Among the numerous awards and honors Lydia has garnered is First Place for the Publisher’s Choice Award at Center, Santa Fe in 2009. She was in the top fifty for the Photolucida Book Award Competition in 2008, and was one of nine artists selected for Fotofest’s International Discoveries Exhibtion, Houston, 2007. Her work was recently included in The Collector’s Guide to Emerging Art Photography and the Photographic Resource Center Publication.
Lydia’s work is included in a number of collections including Zendai Museum of Modern Art, Shanghai, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Allentown Art Museum, Lehigh University, Muhlenberg College, Center for Photography at Woodstock, and Maine Media Workshops.
Lydia has received degrees from Boston College, School of Visual Arts and New York University/ International Center of Photography.
Her work is represented by Foley Gallery in New York City and Wall Space Gallery in Seattle.
