France Claire C is a French photographer based in Paris. She began her career working in the very demanding fashion and cosmetics industry. Not long after, she realised her life was missing a creative element and so in 2002, she turned to Photography.
Having always had an interest in photography, France Claire knew that the subject would be central to her new career change. For this very reason, she decided to continue her studies at Le Centre Iris in Paris where she rapidly gained the skills needed, soon receiving commissions from companies that were in need of company portraits, as well as industrial reports.
With a link already in the fashion industry, she also began assisting a fashion photographer before accepting work as a wedding photographer; quickly becoming recognised as a visual storyteller of special occasions.
During this time, France Claire began working on her own projects- those of a more personal and artistic nature. As a native Parisian, she often felt the need to embrace large outdoor landscapes and fresh air. Compelled to capture these surroundings on camera, she soon realised that she has been shooting a project that had been the result of a search for freedom, silence and peace.
Her work entitled Air and Colour through Nature, is often abstract and close to painture. It aims to convey a sense of poetry often realised during a journey through colour.
Air and Colour through Nature has been exhibited in the Altermundi Gallery in Paris.
